Micro Bead Hair Extensions

Are you ready to take your hair to the next level?

Nano tips are similar to micro rings and mini bead extensions, however, the traditional tip of the extensions is a small clear wire.
This wire is pleated into a tiny nano bead along with your natural hair and the two are clapped together.
They're considered within the industry to be 90% smaller than the traditional micro ring, making them comfortable to wear, especially for those clients who have fine hair, but also are less noticeable.

  • Application time: 3-4hrs depending on your desired volume
  • Maintenance Required: every 6-8weeks

Micro ring extensions are not damaging to the natural hair when fitted by a trained professional.
In fact, they are one of the hair extensions methods that are the least damaging.
They do not require heat or glue to secure them, meaning they will be kinder and gentler to the hair.
When it’s time to remove them, they won’t require the typical alcohol or acetone-based solution remover, unlike the pre-bonded / tape hair extension methods.
However, we can’t stress enough the importance of ensuring hair extensions are maintained within the correct timeframes.

Micro ring hair extension should last between 9 to 12 months, with regular maintenance appointments every 6 – 8 weeks.
This regularity will reduce matting of the natural hair, however we always recommend to pull apart each bond on a weekly basis, between week 3 – 8 of your fitting.

As with all extension methods, eventually the hair and the bond begins to breakdown.
Usually this will naturally begin to occur from 6 months+ however, if the bond is subjected to heating elements or products with harmful chemicals, it may happen sooner.
If this does occur, Vixen Hair offers a ‘re-tipping’ service. Essentially, the bond will be removed and re-bonded to ensure further use.
