Tape hair extensions are a popular method of hair extension. They are slightly quicker to apply and
remove than the individual strand methods (Nano, Micro, Fushion etc) so are great for clients who don't
want to be in the chair for 2 - 3 hours.
The Tape application is one of the latest hair extension application techniques and is a semi-permanent
method. They are applied using double or single-sided tape wefts. With double-sided tape, the weft
sandwiches the hair.
We provide 2 different Tape options – Normal Tape Extensions and Invisible Tape Extensions. See below
the FAQ explaining the difference.
How well they stay in depends on how well they are cared for. For fine hair, we recommend a refit at
around 6 weeks. Normal or Dense hair can get away with up to 8 weeks.
It is important to use the correct shampoo to maintain the bond and avoid applying oils at the root to
maintain longevity and stop the hair slipping out.
This application is good for thin hair.
Re-fitting: 6 - 8 weeks
Have thicker hair? Check out the Weft or Micro methods.
