Our Extension Protection Scheme provides an automatic extended 180 day guarantee for customers who purchase our recommended Hair Extensions (whether ‘Off the Shelf’ or ‘Fully Customised sets’) at RRP pricing. This ensures our customers peace of mind, as any ‘manufacturing’ defects will be covered. While we can't promise that issues will never arise, we do assure you that any unforeseen problems will be addressed and assessed promptly.
This extended guarantee is valid for 180 days from the original purchase date – blowing the usual consumer 7-day protection guarantee out of the water.
Our protection scheme will be automatically activated if our customers pay the Full RRP price for our extensions sets which are over 75g (if under 75g, the below package can be purchased for a discounted price to activate the Protection scheme). Paying the RRP price will mean we provide you with a full* aftercare kit – Free of Charge, including:
*MUK, NAK and Wella products are under our refill scheme (read below).
Should you purchase below 75g and want to activate the extended cover, you can purchase the above care package for $150!!! ($40.40 Saving). Our Extension Protection Scheme covers the following manufacturing defects:
Excessive Tangling; Excessive Matting; Excessive Breakage; Excessive Shedding; Tip Breakdown; Tape Adhesive Issues; Colour Fading*; Faulty Materials or Workmanship.
To make a claim under HairCare Assurance, follow these steps:
If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, our factory will either repair or replace the defective product. We are not responsible for refunding any costs incurred for service (removal or reapplication of the hair for example). Should it be deemed this is an issue caused by any of the areas below, the extensions will be returned to you once the postage charges to and from the factory have been settled.
Our Extension Protection Scheme does not cover the following:
General wear and tear; Accidental damage or misuse; Damage caused by modifying or altering the product by another salon or oneself (including colouring, toning, Purple shampooing etc); Damage from excessive heat; Discoloration from chlorine, hard water, salt water or chemicals from other products; Colour Fading (after 7 days); Other application, maintenance or services provided outside of salon; Damage from not following aftercare guidance.
*Note: Due to Environmental factors that highly affect colour - Color fading will only be considered a manufacturing defect if it occurs within 7 days of purchase, no other products have been used, and it is not caused by user error.
As a part of the Extension Protection Scheme, you must abide to the following:
Should any of the above not be followed, this will void the Extension Protection Scheme and a claim cannot be made. Please note, choosing to remove the hair extensions prior to the end of the 180 days without re-installation within 3 days will also result in the voiding of the scheme. This scheme cannot be passed to another individual if you gift or sell the hair extensions on. Should you action the Extension Protection Scheme via paying the full RRP price, you are deemed to fully understand these terms and conditions.
